Zoom Video Conferencing
Zoom is very popular with online marketers and business owners because it’s reliable and very easy to use.
Video Conference Meetings
Face-to-face meetings are becoming more and more difficult with so many people working remotely. And that can even include people working on projects in different cities and even, different countries. My IT team, for example, are overseas but we still need to communicate and hold meetings. We hold Zoom meetings particularly when we need to share screens with one another to discuss design and project details. Skype is no longer the stable platform it used to be with many people having trouble getting it to work on their computers.
Video Screen Capture Tool
There are many screen grab options that let you record your computer screen including recording presentations. I always use Zoom, though, because it’s so easy and requires no video editing when done.
I just hit record and upload it with a push of a button. No editing. It’s fast and fool-proof!
So even if you’re not doing a Live webinar, you can make Zoom videos using presentation slides and voice. You can even walk your audience through a website, documents or spreadsheets etc on your computer and record it all.
Webinars and Online Courses
With Zoom, your attendees can attend LIVE, and you can record the webinar to share the replay in your sales or marketing funnel. You can use these replay videos in presentations over and over for years to come.
Zoom is commonly used by people creating an online course and this is how you do it:
- Market your course as a Live group coaching course for free on Facebook. Let your audience know it will be starting soon. It’s ok to give a date but it’s also ok if you have to delay a little bit to get more people to attend.
- Once you have a small group interested you use Zoom to hold the Live sessions (you may have a session once per week for 4 -6 weeks, for example).
- Then you take the recording of those sessions and that becomes the permanent course you put into your membership site or marketing funnel. This is your ‘evergreen’ course you can sell (evergreen means you can keep selling it over and over on auto-pilot without having to personally keep teaching the material).
Zoom has various plans which are priced very reasonably and even has a great affiliate program so you can get paid a commission by recommending it to others.
